Deep velvety-purple, star-shaped flowers with contrasting bright yellow anthers mature to a lavender blue as they age. Occasionally blooms in semi-double and fully-double flowers all at the same time on the same plant. Free-flowering variety looks lovely in the garden, on an arbor or trellis.
