Introduced in 1983. Fruit is dark blue, large and attractive with a good blueberry flavor and a pleasing sugar to acid ratio. Glossy, dark green leaves turning to a deep bright red in fall. A good plant for the home gardener with winter climates similar to Minneapolis-St. Paul. Makes an ideal shrub for the home landscape. Shown to be a reliable choice for home use in zone 3, but will produce larger yields in higher zones.
