An attractive small tree with deep green summer foliage, yellow fall color, and attractive corky bark in the winter. Performs well in dry, alkaline or acidic soils, and tolerates salt and air pollution. Hedge Maple responds well to severe pruning, making it an excellent choice for a street tree and under utility lines.
