Plant description

An attractive small Hawthorn tree with clusters of white spring flowers followed by 3/8” orange to red fruit that bears annually, heavily, and remaining persistent through the winter. The form is a lovely rounded to vase shape with distinctive silver bark. Glossy foliage turn purple to scarlet in fall. Winter King Hawthorn tolerates most soil types and heavy pruning. Excellent addition to urban landscapes. A Robert Simpson selection.
