Plant description

A small tree with white flowers blooming in mid-summer along with rich green foliage. The distincitive shiny amber to copper colored bark exfoliates with age into loose flakes and curls. A slow to moderate grower with a rounded habit. Adaptable to a range of soils but prefers loose, well-drained and sunny locations. A good choice for the landscape.
